Hiperpool’s Talent Sponsors were able to identify two members from the Hiperpool community that matched 17a's requirements and were interested in the role.
17a's hiring manager decided to interview one candidate. After three interview rounds, the Hiperpool member was offered the role and accepted it.

17a partnered with Hiperpool in order to find a Director of Behavioral Health and Innovation.
The Director will be responsible for defining and executing on 17a's priorities in the behavioral health space, including managing existing work/teams in the space, identifying next horizon business development opportunities and areas for impact, and driving the thought leadership agenda for 17a's ongoing contribution to knowledge in the space.
Responsibilities also include driving the investment agenda for early-stage, non-dilutive investments in addiction services, developing and managing local and national partnerships, and ensuring successful execution of pilots with providers. He/she will also be responsible for shaping the thought leadership agenda to share insights, call others to action and scale what works.
The Director will have heavy interaction with CEOs of major health systems/treatment providers, leaders in behavioral health technology companies and groups like the data team at the Federal Department of Health and Human Services.
